I've tried a few over the years and have found Sophos (www.sophos.co.uk) to be one of the better ones!

Very easy to use and I'm always getting "genuine" email alerts and instant updates for for the software to detect them.

The best thing is I get this and my updates free, because this is the chosen AV software for my place of work and all employees are allowed to install it on their 'puters for free, as not to bring any viruses into work.

If you know that your company uses Sophos ask them if you can take the CD home to load it on your PC.:idea:
