I need some help burning games for psx2 had no problem with psx1 games but when i put a psx2 game in to burn it doesnt want to reconize the disk can someone please help.thxs :beer:

is it a CD based (blue) game or a DVD (silver) based game?

it is a silver back game

then its on dvd. you have a dvd burner? or at least a dvd-drive?

Then go to www.miradex.com and click on the storage link and purchase the bare pioneer a04/104 US$ 254.00 dvdr burner. You will be able to use nero (the latest version with it) to copy dvd's.

that would be great if i was tring to burn dvds but i am not . As i clearly explained i am tring to burn psx2 games . For some reason i can burn psx 1 games not psx 2

You ARE trying to copy DVD's..... thats the problem!!!

Silver backed PS2 games are on DVD. Thats why you can't read or copy them. The only PS2 games you'll be able to copy are the blue backed ones.

Yes it matters.

PS2 games with a blue back are standard cd's like all the PS1 games were. Silver backed PS2 games are on DVD-Rom, if you look at the disc it will actually say DVD Rom on it. You won't be able to burn these type of discs without a DVD burner.

If you're having problems copying blue backed PS2 games then thats a different problem becuase you should be able to do this with your normal cd burner.

Try the 'search this forum' box & put in a key word for the search, you'll have your answer.
Key words are more than three letters, e.g. 'manual,' 'version', 'name of a game,' 'nero', 'backup' Etc.
