i was just going trough the faq finding myself left with a feeling from jeeeeeezzz we still can't do anything with the xbox(seeing from a newbie point of view) so if a newbie would come to the boar and asks a question bout copying xb games and we would sent him to the faq he still wouldn't be able to figure out if it was possible(let alone how to) so my question is this, maybe one of the xbox fanatics out there who's very good at explaining could make a new faq, with some info bout evox(not needed to explain all that, just linking to vallhallo or something? just a clue)or bout all the mods available. bout the emulators or the divx/vcd players.

i know this info can be found all over the net. but there are some people who buy a xbox witch is premodded, they come here by accident and go asking all sorts of questions because they a:do not know where to look b:are too dumb to find some links themselfs or c:just damn lazy.

this is a damn nice board with great forums great users great mods and a great lot of info ;) so i figured why not make the info complete so that a newbie who comes here can find all the awnsers to the questions they have without even asking(than if they have questions whe'd alle be willing to help don't we? :D ).

maybe someone of you is willing to do this/have the sparetime to do this.
the reason why this thread is also subjected to the mods is because they have to grand someone of us permision to do this and post the new faq's.


if this isn't a good idea then let me know and i'll shut up bout it.

I'll start an official FAQ submission post so that members can submit ideas for what they feel should be included in the FAQ.

Also we're always open for ideas to improve the forum, as long as they fall within our rules and wont get us shutdown. They can either be posted in the general chat folder or sent to a mod via email.

Sure, we did that in the PS2 forum, but a large number of new people never read it for some reason.

i know that handyguy, but if a newbie comes here asking noobquestion(as we all did at one time in our life) we can redirect them to the faq(normaly they should read those first, but hey nobody's perfect) so that they can get all of the info there and don't have to spamn the board with those silly questions(again its just the way you look at it, for an expert its a silly question, for a noob it may be important.)

i dunno how it is in the ps2 forum, but when someone asks a question bout something and one of us reply's with "that info is found in the faq" i assume that person looks there and reads the info, if not and the person is persuming it's annoying ways of posting the there still are mods wo can close the post
