I just bought a premodded system that is supposed to have the Enigmah final in it. I have tried two games that the guy sent with it, Halo and Hunter. The game loads to title screen, but when you select new game it starts loading and then gives me an error saying the XBOX doesn't recognize the media type. They are both DVD-R format. Is this a problem with the chip or the games (media). Could this be a beta chip, instead of the final and the games aren't patched? LMK if I need to send this unit back.

It's deffinately the media. Had the same problem. You are not alone in this cause many peeps have seen this. Are the games on white top DVD-Rs? If so, that might be why. try burning it on another media and should work. I switched to a silver top DVD-R and boots the games up 100%

Thanks... Yes, the games he sent were on white tops. I don't have a burner so I will order my next round of games on Apple's.

yup same problems here, i also have 2 same games, 2 halos, 1 hunter. both of them boots but goes to the xbox menu saying it can't read it. I am getting my apple media this tuesday, hope it works
