I've seen the features on these chips and claims to have a "no spy" feature that won't submit any info to Microsoft when online. Can anyone explain how legit this is when Onlne hasn't even kicked in yet? Thanks.

there is a bodge job online, connecting the XBox to the PC and using GameSpy.com to make your own XBox Live network. GameSpy is mainly for PC networks but XBox can go through it (planetXBox.com). Games that run so far on it are: Halo, Tony Hawks, Nascar and a couple of others

Also I did hear rumours before, that because of the differences in the way the 2 chips worked, XTender could be detected but Enigmah couldn't, that is just a rumour, nothing was ever proved to me... we'll have to wait and see.

So? They can read the code now & change it now before its online.

it is impossible for us to know this, as Handyguy has said. Closing this as it is complete speculation.
