most know that if you want a no swop mod its messiah
if you want a no swop cdr mod with dvd region fetchers its neo4.x
if you want to swop most agree that the OrigaChip/NovaChip/ neo2.x are the best

all theses chips work fine as long as they are installes propley,, and will be made to work with new ps2

what is the advantage of neo4 over messiah?
does the messiah do everything the neo4 does?

OrigaChip still the best, One advantage it doesn't wear out the laser!!
This chip by pass the Region-code, nothing more.

Neo 4 isnt a complete no swap chip. You have to swap to play dvd games.

Messiah is a true no swap mod chip.

messiah deffinatley...dont even bother with a neo4....its a biach to install and u still gotta do a dvdr swap....

but nothing works with the newest model....yet, i believe.....or maybe like..the magic chip 2 or something like that.

at this moment in time easily the best chip for the ps2 = M
although it aint easy to install yourself (23 wires to be soldered)
when done it's brilliant,no hasstle just straight forward boot up,
