Ok, here it is. I have burned about 7 CDs in a row where it appears that they are being burned but when I open the CD and mouseover the .cda file, it shows them as .cda's but only *** 44 bytes and I open them in Winamp and they appear to play and it shows the correct length for each song but I hear nothing at all. Can someone explain that to me? My CD wroter has always worked fine until it started doing this crap. I tried updating the driver for the CD wroier (Mitsumi CR-48X5TE but with a Philips logo).

There is no such thing as a .CDA file, it is just something windows creates to show CD audio tracks. They will always be 44bytes. Chuck in an original audio CD and you will see the same thing.
