GodfatherUK Jul 28, 2002, 02:59 AM ive got a liteon 40x w and its overclocked to 48xw and works fine the w means a diff chipset than s w is the better one because it uses cav when it writes celtic_druid Jul 28, 2002, 04:27 AM The W and S use the same chipset. The 5 in 40125 denotes the chipset. I have a 40125W and it works perfectly with Clone CD. As I understand it both the S and the W now use P-CAV writing, neither uses CAV. Originally the S was Z-CLV. |
