if you are the only user then you are also admin thets it if you are not
then when you use user set ac****s that is where you can restict the second user to restrict your own files such as documents right cick on them
down to restict shairing and restict that way you will have to do this with all your folders

You need seperate user accounts and you will need to use local policies which will allow you to do these things.

Access group policies by start > run > gpedit.msc

Well, I dont know how to use that. I am new to Win Xp, can you give me specific instructions to restrict access to the Run Command, the C:/ drive, IE Internet Options, Network Places, My Computer, and Control Panel?

Ok, well, I restricted access to the Run Command, and well, it did it for all users. I have 2 users, one is called Administration, and one is a public one. The administration is an administrative type account, and the public one is a limited account. How can I just change what is allowed for the Public account? It also had me enter an administration password when i installed windows XP, how do i access that account?
