The main question i have is - will more ram help with 3d games from hiccuping?
With a bad graphics card, on 3d games i get like 7 fps....
With a good graphics card (geforce 2 64mb) I get around 20
But with the geforce i get hiccups all the time.. Like every second.
The 3d accelerator can obviously handle the game and it doesn't stutter like a slower graphics card with 7 fps but why does it hiccup? And why does the harddriver light go on very very often during the game?
Are these all signs of my system needing more ram?
I got 128mb athlon xp 1800+
Thanks
