what is the difference between the 40125s and 40125w?
ive just order a lite on 40x from ebuyer.com and just wondering what difference it will make if they send either the w or th s? thanks a lot

There is basically no difference.

The s version has mt rainier support with a firmware upgrade but because both drive have identical hardware the s can be flashed to w and vice versa. Also you may want to overclock it to 48x. Check out cdcloner's post in this thread:
