My brand new xbox was modded and played for 2 days with Enigmah chip. On 3rd day, I turn on power, no response, no lights, cdrom don't even open, no sound, no nothing.

1) tried different power jack - no luck
1a) unplugg power cable serial times - no luck
2) desoldered modchip, cleaned solder points - no luck
3) leave everything apart and connect all wires - no luck
4) touch power supply after 5 minutes plugged in - dead cold

What can I do now? It's dead. Xbox is now an "X'ed box". Where do I get alternate power supply replacement? Damn cheap PC!!

Take it apart and look at all the connections trust me i had that problem when i first modded my XBOX

This is just a M$ wroker spreading horror story on modchip :) ifmy xbox dies, Ill buy a new one, they're so cheap ..u can actuaøøy affort a new one :)

well i bet now your thinking it would of been worth $40 to let somebody who know's what they are doing mod your xbox right about now? :)

i dunno if you can take it back as it's obviously been opened..so you voided the warranty.

i guess if you don't figure anything out atleast you can pull out the dvdrom-drive and have a $200 cup holder?

A frequent topic. Send it to someone who knows what they are doing.....

you may have even shorted the thing out... even with good connections you still gotta keep the chip form touching other metal parts... i have seen it happen...
