i buy a executor chip flash it with exov 2.2. then i take the chip out cause i dont need it anymore? will the xbox read backups without the chip?

if you flash the original xbox' bios with evox... then yes you can take out your xecuter and play it that way...yes backups will still work... its just like having the evox chip installed, but without the 2 bios option, which is just having both the evox bios on another mod chip, and then the original bios still in the xbox and the mod chip is wired up with a switch, so if you need to you can boot up the original bios

so i can burn evox 2.2 on a cdrw and flash the xbox with out a chip and have backups working?

Why would you want to flash your xbox bios when the x-ecuter modchip has the same functions as the evo 2.2 bios?

It has all the functions!!
Even the hardrive patch which enables you to use a bigger hardrive with the x-ecuter mod.

So no need to flash your bios if u have an x-ecuter mod.

Yes u can play backups with the evo 2.2 bios.
It has the same features as the enigmah final in addition you can upgrade to a bigger drive. The enigmah and xtender modchips don't have this feature. But x-ecuter modchip does.

In order to flash your xbox bios you'll need to have a modchip already installed and then you'll need to disable the chip in order to properly flash the xbox bios. The xbox cannot read unsigned code without a modchip.

I suggest you wait for the x-ecuter modchip to be released.
