Datasafe Silver Premium: Pale gold writing surface and white top surface from SVP.
Are these as good as the old light blue datasafes? I'm afraid these will be datasafe in name only and they switched manufactures?

I have been using them for a few months with no problems i have used them for psx,ps2,pc,audio and vcd.
A few people here have said they dislike them compared to the old datasafe(a few coasters) but as i said no complaints from me.

might get the traxdata ones then, but then they sound different to the old ones now pale gold, the old ones were more greeny.

I use them for pc games, psx games and Audio cd's no problem. One thing about them though is that they aren't as readable in DVD players as the originals. The Originals i believe were made by Princo and these ones are made by Ritek.

Yeah I agree the Princo disks by Data Safe were very good.. now they are made by Ritek and others and they arent as goods as the 24x Princo.
