Is there any way to set a password for a CD Rom drive? I have some files I want to save to a CD, but I don't want anyone else to be able to read those files, if they happen to get the CD.

I would like to be able to put the CD in the CD Rom drive and when I click on the CD drive a message box comes up asking for a password (which I have already set).

Is this possible?

probably the easiest way would be to compress with winzip or winrar then password protect them

There are a lot of progs on the market that will allow you to password protect folders, cd's etc. If you do a search on google you will find lots. Heres an example of just one of them http://www.toplang.com/passworddoor.htm
