i used the evo x which is burnt onto a CDRW and installed the evo X dashboard but i backed up my origional xbox dashboard first. i was using it then desided to put my old dashboard back on. When i did that my XBOX went loopy. and now desplayes a message stating "CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE" in green. so at this moment in time i hve no dashboard!!!!! However my origional games and my backups boot fine. how can i put my dashboard back on to my xbox?

Maybe if you tried putting the EvoX dashboard back on and then trying the switch to the old one again, then it might work. I can't really think of anything else you could do.

by using the cdrw with evox2.2 do u have to have the chip installed?
