i have just installed a pioneer dvd-104 in my system (firmware v1.20) and need some advise on which is the best software to enable me to back up region zero dvd going to the hard drive and then back to the dvd-r, ( this is due to no dvd rom on computer - no room on motherboard )i have got software by vob instant cd+dvd, but dvd-r is only recognised as a reader !! i also have a demo version of nero v 5.5.9 but my serial no will not activate the registration, could somebody please advise me of what is the simplest and best software, and also any links to allow me to download it. any advise would be greatly appreciated, thanks a lot

Prassi Primo is probably your best bet, as it also seems to be everyones favourite program.

If you search around yahoo etc you should be able to find Prassi Primo demo for download enabling you to buy it after it expires.
