when trying to do a copy to copy using nero 5590 my ultraplex drive is reading the source disc at over 1 gig. ive got a second ultraplex which reports same size over 1 gig, but when using other drives to read the sorce disc they identify the correct size. i am using windows xp.

after some experimenting to find out this prob i have noticed that after upgrading to nero ver 5590 to recognize my liteon 48x12x48 my ultraplex has started to give incorrect info of the sorce disc when over 74 mins, but when i downgrade to ver 5572 and my liteon is not recognized my ultraplex gives the correct info. if anyone has the same combo i would like to hear your comments and any help would be appreciated

I have a similar system, an ultraplex 40 reader and a plexwriter 24X10X40. When I upgraded from Nero 5.5.8.0 to 5.5.9.0 and used the copy CD feature, a message came up saying that the blank disk was not large enough to copy the source disk. I tried several different blank disks and received the same error message. When I went back to 5.5.8.0, I was able to make a working copy of the source disk. This is the first time I had any problems with Nero.

Hi Tony,thanks for your reply, it does seem it was a conflict with nero 5590.
Ive just downloaded nero5594 beta and it has solved all my problems. This is the link where you can get it. Hope this is as good for you as it was for me.
