I,ve just bought this laptop and when I try burning audio cds at 8x speed I keep getting a buffer under run fault.I'm using a Matshita ujda330 cd writer and Nero 5.5 software.Can anyone please help.

firstly I would check your media, some drives can be very fussy on the media that they will burn, secondly the quality of the file you are burning, make sure there are no faults on the file, thirdly the writer, make sure that you can read all types of media and that you havent got a laser fault.

More info required, ie: how far are the attempts to burn getting 1-5% or further, you may find that the actual cdr wrter is faulty but check different types of file to burn, use a rewritable cd if you dont wanna ruin too many cds, hope taht can narrow down the problem
