whats up guys,

had a question about lite-on vs plextor audio write speed. what is the diffenence between the 2. time vs quality. from what i understand that when you write a audio cd it doesnt burn at 48 speed if its a 48X12X48 speed. it slows down. it will only burn data at 48 speed. am i wrong. right now i have a yamaha 20x10x40. its ok but its been misburning cd's lately. some of them are skipping. i use imation media. which in my opinion is pretty descent media. i can burn a 80 min. cd in about 5:30 to 6:00.. im looking at either the plextor 48 or the write-on 48. any answers advise sugestions or links would be helpfull.

Dont know about 48x plextor , but 40x limits the audio burning to 24x , so guess the 48 will as well, with lite on you can burn audio at max speed, providing the discs are good enough.
