i've tried everything. i'm trying to copy "election" and it seems to just be the movie. i've made the disc region free because when i tried to do a hd playback it said it was the incorrect region (why i dont know) so i plays fine on the hd now, but still causes prassi to burn a coaster... prassi starts burning and finalizes RIGHT AWAY. i un-installed and re-installed prassi, i did a scandisc, i updated the software version (2.0.766) but nothing helps...

I did many coasters like that when I was playing around with IfoEdit. Your DVD structure seems to be broken.

and just how do i fix that.... short of ripping the menues? and by the way, this isnt being caused by messing around with ifoedit. it does the same thing even if i try to do an exact copy :(

something went wrong when ripping all the files to hard drive & one of the files may not be complete.

It finalizes after 1min coz it's not dvd compliant.

have you known this to be cause by the original dvd itself or is it usually the ripping program? any insight would be greatly appreciated.

to be honest I couldn't really say coz i've had a movie that i've ripped with smartripper & wouldn't burn then when I ripped it with dvd decrypter it burned fine, but there has been times when no matter what ripping program I used it still wouldn't burn.

i really doubt it not burning has anything to do with the fact that the original dvd only had a VIDEO_TS folder and no AUDIO_TS... but maybe. just a thought.

How do you it finalizes after 1 minute.
I've got Record now max and get also coaster burning an iso file created with dvd decryptor.
The funny thing is with a dvd+rw I can play the movie,
With both type of disc it does a succesful burn, but the dvd+r disc it the wrong format type of disc it can't be read, my standalone dvd starts flashing c 13 00.
Could this be because it finalizes after one minute?
Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong!
