got myself one of these last week. plays all i wanted plus macro off
set it up, macro was already off, cool. played well for a week.
now today i try and back up some films and the macro is now on.
tried the hack but not really sure if im doing it right.
all the settings for region free and macro off are correct, but not removing, but.
i found that the macro is removed on some discs and not others.
the problem discs are datasafe (mostly silver premiums) but a couple of the white tops dont work either, (datasafe that is)
i wondered if anyone else could shed any light on it.
i.e the correct settings for the dvd player, and where im going wrong.
apart from that, great player for 70 notes.
