Question- I have a CD-ROM Alsop cleaning disk (with 8 brushes on the bottom).Would it be a good idea to use this on a burner?Just to remove any dust or particles from the lens.Do you think it would damage the burner?

I prefer opening up the drive and do a throrough clean/lube periodically. However, for cleaning the laser lens, if you're not comfortable of opening the case you can use the laser cleaning discs from good names. I do not think they will damage the lens.
