Van Nugent Aug 05, 2002, 07:49 PM Use a good wave recorder to record the tapes to WAVs. A free one is Cowon Jet-Audio. Check the sticky Audio Software Links. If you have more Q's please post back. ThE SnAkE Aug 06, 2002, 11:35 AM hi i have downloaded it but cant find the option where i can record from tape to the computer, i.e. capturing the sound. can anyone help green_blade Aug 06, 2002, 12:19 PM When you say you have downloaded it, what exactly is 'it' ? If you have downloaded an audio editor and connected your tape recorder to your PC, the sound should be audible on your PC and you can then record it using the audio editor. ThE SnAkE Aug 06, 2002, 04:30 PM Cowon Jet-Audio Van Nugent Aug 06, 2002, 04:36 PM After you start Cowon, click on Record button on the mixer and select Line-In. You must connect your tape deck to the line-in on the soundcard. Ghost_of_Garcia Aug 07, 2002, 05:09 PM The record button on the mixer is so that you can adjust settings for the recording. To actually start the recording, you'll hit the record button on the next module down. You will need to run a few trial runs to get your levels where you want them. Keep in mind you will not be able to eliminate hiss with this program. Also, you'll probably want to run Adaware b/c Jet Audio is loaded with b.s. ads and the like. |
