So I am backing up my data daily by taking a hard drive, slaving it to the master drive and then making a clone using Norton Ghost 2002. I have to physically remove the hard drive everyday though and it's getting to be a bit annoying. I have Backup Exec 8.6 and it is compatible with Windows NT. Is there a way that I can schedule an automatic backup (clone) of my hard drive to another hard drive????? Is the clone a 1:1 copy???

Thanks,

:)

The nearest thing you can do, is to use a boot floppy, on it the main Ghost EXE file, and a batch file to run Ghost from DOS commands.
So when you are done with NT, simply reboot with the floppy inside the drive, it boots up, loads the batch file and it runs the backup without human interface.

In Win9X/ME, you can use a third party scheduler to 'keystroke' Ghost , but NT/2000 and XP, you will need to run from pure DOS.
