i am able to cut a file...
...but how can i join 2 files together to make 1 file ??
is this the merge/cut feature ??
any help would be appriciated

the version i have[beta 12b 0.11.20.104]
only has these features:
simple multiplex
simple de multiplex
multiplex
de multiplex
merge and cut

is there another version i need to perform this task ??

i did it but like this:
i went into mpeg tool[of course]
then, merge and cut tab
then, add a file
make sure your movie files are edited accordinly
you have to be exact,
so it may smoothly go into each next file
then, add the second or third file the same way
goto output and browse for the file you wish to use

hi boom,

when a file is cut with tmpgenc. a few tenths of a second are left on the first file and also the second file and if you join these together without cutting these bits off one file or the other then when you watch the joined file you will get a small replay occuring at the join so the more exact you edit/cut the smoother the join.
after loading the files, browes to find where you wish to save your files(output) then hit run.

i did this with my copy of "band of brothers"
i cut out the opening credits and saved only what i wanted...worked flawless
