is it better than 2002

well, from what i've heard it is. it's at least just as good.

I just got it.........and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Havent stopped playing it all day!!

I got it on another system and I don't like it. I can't get into the Al Micheals, John Madden comdination at all. It seems to play somewhat better and has alot of goodies from last year but I think I'm going to get the NCAA Football 2003 instead and get it on the PS2 at that. I can't recommend Madden this year, sorry.......

I know some of you are going to say I've missed it on this but if I hear Madden say "When it comes to pass catching, that's what you mean" one more time I'm going to break the CD so it's best I return it.... :zombie:

You can play online with the Linksys 100TX USB Adapter. only if you have broadband though. I've played a few games online... SO FUN!

the game is awesome. i think its way better then 2002. u can do minicamp to improve ur skills, and make ur own plays and playbook which was missing from 2002. i havent stopped playing it and EA deserved my money for it.

i have played a few games.

online play is built into the game but it isnt supposed to work until the official ps2 adapter comes out.

But right now...you can get the LINKSYS USB 100 TX for like 10-15 bucks on ebay or 40 in stores. ...and play online now

it is free...you just need to have a cable or dsl conncetion.

Basically the same game, the running game hasn't been improved much, but the passing game/secondary defense is better. I like the option to look back towards the quarterback on pass defense. Madden is always a sure thing. Nothings changed. The extras and franchise mode are supreme. I really can't wait to try NFL2k3. I know the graphics aren't as good, but with football sims, the gameplay is by far most important.

most sites ive visited have given 2k3 a very small edge over madden. personally, ive like 2k3 better than madden for like 4 yrs. dont get me wrong because im getting both, but finally 2k3 gets some recognition!

I picked up 2k3 today and I'm liking that better. I also got EA NCAA 2003 and I like that better also but Madden on the PSX 2003 is very good. I like the old school Madden but I still can't get use to Madden Monday Night Football...... yuck......

Madden should have stayed with Fox and left Monday Night Football alone. They were both good in their own nitch but since both have come together it's gonna take time to get use to. As of right now I don't like it at all.... (online or not, it's not much of an upgrade anyway) cyaa.....

Yeah, I just got mine for $16 (total WITH shipping) from eBay. Why are they going so cheap on eBay but still so much more at retail?

Because actual cost on them is REALLY cheap...so wholesalers/resellers won't sell at retail..

They probably only cost $4-5 to make...then only probably cost $10 for resellers. who knows.

obviously u havnt play madden at all

Madden 2003 rocks is all I gotta say =D. And theres NFL2k3 and NFL Blitz 2003. So many football games so little time.

dude madden is amazing it has so many options, nfl2k3 has better commentary and graphics but madden has more options
