i got gameshark.com to send me a free gameshark upgrade disk instead of paying like 11 bux for it or whaeva the price is.

anyway they asked for my address and everything so now they are going to send it. how long does it take for them to ship it out and everything??? i kno everybody was able to get free gameshark discs like i did so someone must kno. thanks

yeh its great getting for the free UPGRADE disc however i though the upgrade discs didnt work without the dongle which you can only buy with the original product :)

Maybe two weeks, maybe a week, maybe a month. You didn't say where you are, so thats the time period I have seen.

Need the dongle of course, as mentioned above to use it.

ya i have the dongle but someone broke my gameshark disk in half so i can't play any games now :(, but gameshark is sending me a disk now so its all good. Im in NJ just to let u kno.

its really easy actually, just email support@gameshark.com and tell them that you get a red screen that says "please insert a playstation 2 format disk" because they will ask you what error message you are getting.tell them that there are absolutly no scratches on the disk. and if you want to say that it works in your friend's ps2 but not yours. they will email you back saying that your version gameshark can't be played in your ps2 becuz there are different ps2 versions which we all know anyway. then if your lucky they will say in the email to reply back with your address to send you a disk free of charge. gotta wait tho becuz it usually takes gameshark about a day or longer to reply back with your email. aight man hope this works for ya , it did for me:).

IT ONLY TOOK 3 days for gameshark to ship it and get it to me, damn they are fast!!
anyway the disk does work without the dongle. its not an upgrade disk they gave me. they gave me an actual new gameshark disk. its v2 1.99d

what are u talking about?? U have yo use the dongie to use the gameshark

the dongle is only needed for cheats, not as a boot CD:)

so ur saying i wasted 50$ long time ago on my gameshark when all i need is a cd. I have a neo 2.2 and i use the gameshark and dongie tgo boot back ups. When i try to boot the cd without the dongie it says hardware not dected so how do u boot back ups without the dongie?

when is says hardware not detected just press ****in start or somtinj like that. thats what i do. and it will bring you to the boot up screen and just choose witout codes.

i have done this several times and it takes around exactly 4 weeks, word of advice, you can do this many times as long as you change your first name and keep using different emails. But dont ruin it for the rest of us, cuz if they give out alot then they might change their minds in the future.
