Hi
When it comes to scandisking my drive it dose a certain ,then restarts and so on, at presend im unable to scan disk my drive due to this .
I've cleared all progams out like they all till you and left explore and system tray in but it still dose the same.
turn the screensaver off and to my knowledge turn any progam off thats got a autodetect.

can anyone help me

Try running the scandisk in safe mode.

But what you're describing above could be a symptom of some sort of trojan or spyware on your system. I would look into it if I were you.

tried adware got half why through my scandisk then the problem started again ...any other suggestions

You need a 3rd party scandisk, like Norton Speed Disk I think - I always had probs with the Windows scan - kept restarting - Norton does the job -
