For some reason WIN98SE doesn't reconise the CD. It's set up in bios, if I boot off a 98 startup disk its OK. I tried adding another (so I had 2 on the system) and that once again is reconised in bios and startup disk boot but not in windows itself. Any ideas??

This is a old trick I use, it works 'most' but not all of the time, remove the CDROM, restart Windows, shut down, then plug the CDROM into a separate channel (so if it woz on Channel 1 before, plug it in Channel 2), and most of the time, Win98 will pick it up as a new device and re-install/activate the driver again..
