HI just to let u all no that yes it plays every thing , svcd , vcd , mp3 and dvdr , and it seems to play um v.good in deed , i allready have a dansia 1010 and an xbox , ps2 and this seems to play the dvdr the best , my nipper was just watching a hongkong silver on the xbox which started playing up at the end of the film so i tried it in the pacific and it played flawlessly :) also now playing a princo gen 1 in it and guess wot it plays all the way which is some thing the others dont do , so im really happy with it as its quite a nice looking dvd player as well just need a macro hack etc now lol

can anyone tell me the correct way to get the pacific 1002 region free??????????

The following hack works on the latest machines

on the remote

press open/close

press clear

press 1

press 3

press 6

press 9

press region number 1 to 6(0 for region free)

press open/close

Hopefully you are now region free

good player except u can't remove macrovision

PS. the player are just less than £70 now :D
