ATI ALL-IN-WONDER® Radeon 8500 DV - OEM

Can buy this card for £163.33. it's obviously a great multimedia card, but is it any good for games?
I would prefer a card with 128mb, but this seems a great deal (due to the immanent release of the 9700).

Any Opinions?

ATI has far superior image quality, the 9700 kick the g44600 a$$! people are hitting just under 20,000 2001 3dmarks with them

I'd like to know if anyone else has tried this card too.

I already have a geforce 2 pro, but since I don't do games but want to add a capture card to the pc wondered if this was a good option.

I am waiting delivery of a 2nd pc with onboard graphics which will be used for the occasional games.

If this AIW card was a good option I'd get it and put the G2 pro in the new machine, what do you think?

Bought the Hercules version for my son to replace a matrox AIW which we tried that was slow and only had 32mb of memory. At that time it was like £50 of a difference and had good reviews. He doesn't play a lot of games in general but it seems to do everything he needs on the video capture side of things and he loves the remote control.
At that kind of price it is an excellent buy.
