i have been trying to find out why movies that i convert to dvdr from mpeg1 and mpeg2 wont load in 2 of my friends standalone dvd players, the movies that i burn from dvd silvers or that i rip down from an original dvd work 100% so i no they play dvdrs i have tryed vcds and svcds and they also play. so why not s/vcd that has been converted to dvdr they play 100% on my standalone i think it must be the ifo files could someone tell me if this is right or if im not doing something i sould be. After spuceup has made the video_ts and the Audio_ts i open ifoedit then open VIDEO_TS.IFO click on VMGM_MAT scroll down to Video Attributes of VMGM_VOBS and double click on it, if its pal mpeg2 and i reencoded the video size in tmpge to 720x576 then in the resolution box i tick 720x576 if the Aspect Ratio is 4.3 then i tick 4.3 and in static i would tick Automatic Pan&scan and for 16.9 i would tick Automatic letterboxed i leave everything else default save and exit .Then in ifoedit i goto VTS_01_.IFO click on VTSI_MAT scroll down to Video Attributes of VTSM_VOBS double click on and do the same as the above 720x576 4.3 etc is this all i should be doing or is their somthing i didnt do.
