After having tried a few DVD-Rs (in a AO3 on a Apple Mac) I have found that the Verbatim DVD-Rs are the absolute best from writing PS2 games on. Don't waste your time with others...... I am now a loyal convert... Hail mighty Verbatim.
Here in OZ they are about double the price of the no-names (and Princo) but they work absoultely perfectly without any problems. The Pricos work ok for games less than 2 gb. Anything more that is unplayable on a PS2. I have had no burning problems with any DVD-Rs (I always burn at 1x to be safe) but the only DVD-R to run perfectly on a PS2 is the Verbatim.
