Ok just burned 50 dvd pro whitetop generic DVD-Rs,and
20 do not work.This percentage is not good.
I need to find out what the hell is going on,so your feedback would
really be appreciated.
Im using prassi primo dvd version 2.0.749 and it says burn successfull everytime.I burn @1x with no appz running.
Really hoping its not my burner.
Oh yeah,and is it normal to have long finalization times.

512 of pc133 SDRAM
XP PRO with NT file system

what are you burning music, films, games? You say 20 didnt work ... how didnt they work, pausing, skipping, not loading? ..... sounds like you have done something to cause this, have you tried defraging or alternatively a full system restore? (99% of the time it's user error) you'll need to supply more info ;)

I'm burning XBOX games.
They are not loading.
I dont understand why I have 30 good ones though,I never
changed any settings.
I defragg monthly.

Are you sure they are all NTFS. Thats all I have heard on this issue. When your burning XBOX games they should copy fine but they have to be NTFS.

A defrag is always good though ;)

X-Box laser's can vary greatly.
Myself and 3 friends each have an X-Box.
Bulkpaqs work on mine but no one else's.
Choice work on my m8's but not mine or another m8's.

It's sometimes the media your using.
Check them for scratch's and dirt.
Had a batch of datasafe's that were very badly marked.
Also make sure your HDD is formatted to NTFS.
Defrag regulary and scandisk often too.

Long finalizations are normal, i find they take longer the LESS you burn onto a disc.

Basically try and have your system running as sweet as possible.
Prassi is the program to use for X-Box games.

Is it iso's your burning from or direct 1:1 copies?

I'm burning ISO's.
I'm testing with my xbox only,so that is why I dont understand why I have
30 good working games,and 20 that do not load,but all were burned the exact same way.

Example:Ill burn a game that works fine,and then I'll burn the same game again and it will not work.not always in that order.Sometimes I'll get 2 bad ones and the 3rd one is fine. I'm just puzzled why
good burns are not consistent.
