ok, can anyone help,looking to set up broadband connection in the uk on my pc and use it on the ps2 for gaming,soo many isp's which should i avoid and which is worth the cash.i'm considering BTopenworld but have heard its over subscribed and slowing down,HELP dont want a crap slow connection!

Have a look at this site

www.adslguide.org/uk/

It lists all the suppliers and you can do a comparison between the isps which shows how good they are from customer service, speed, and up time etc.

It also lists the current offers like free connection and the like.

I would reccomend btopenworld as they are doing a deal for free connection, they arent slowing down, u can get 60k dl all the time, dont get cut off, and the price is ok

As nectarinefire645 says Blueyonder 1MB service for £35 is about best out there!

go for cable if its available in your area, otherwise bt adsl is good i've got it and never had any problems

I'm in a 'non-cable' area & opted for PIPEX
Quick, reliable & CHEAP!! (around £23 per month)

Can't fault it so far......

Pipex is the best way to go for people without cable in their area. Cheap too.
