Does this player play all region dvd's ie. ones i bought in China? I know it won't play vcd's until the upgrade comes out. Just nipped into Asda in Dundee & they are selling this player for £67. Not Bad eh?

I was in Dundee ASDA as well today and bought one of these players + a tv and video combi.

the price of the dvd player is pure mental.

I am awaiting the upgrade disk too.

well I heard from a few people that they dont play vcd`s or svcd`s , but there is an upgrade disk comming in the next 2 weeks or so.

I ask customer services at Asda but they never knew anything about it.

But alot of people that live in england have said , that there Asda is getting the cds.

i know that you can make them multi region , but it requires software cd , not a remote control hack.

When i get the cd to make it into vcd and svcd playback , i`ll give you a shout m8.
