Nearly done my first dvdr using spruce,problem is when i come to write the dam thing i get the message,some thing about not being enough room on my target media even though the file size is less than 4.3g,what am i doing wrong

try going into preferences and see if it has been set to dvd-r/rw 4.7gb

I have it set to dvd-r/rw 4.7gb yet i get the message not enough space on target media.I am still using windows millenium istead of xp is that where my problem lies?

i dont think that is your problem, in spruce up if you sit the cursor over the picture of the dvdr what size does it say?
if you are going to change from millenium then use win2000
