I have akways used REMPEG" but have recently seen more people using a prog called CCE. Is it better and in what ways. Should I be looking to change the way I do my DVD's? Advantages and disadvantages would be of great help.

Sorry if I am a bit thick Rudey, but what has DVD-DECRYPTER got to do with the question I asked?

Absolutly nothing.. One would assume that if you are using ReMPEG, etc. then you need to re-encode due to movie size and thus a 1:1 copy is usless.
My understanding is that CCE is faster and gives better quality, but not cheap. REMPEG is much easier to use and free.

Thanx CELTIC_DRUID. I thought I had lost the plot for a while there. RUDEY must have posted the wrong link.

CCE gives much higher quality mpegs in about a third of the time rempeg does, but it is a little harder to use and if you are doing your dvds propperly using ifoedit to re-mux your m2v files then rempeg is the only program you can use for that propperly. You can use CCE for it but that is a very long way and hard to describe, theres a good guide for it on doom9.org
