I have an Acer S2W 5300U an only cost me £53 about 4 months ago...A Very Good Scanner as far as I'm concerned..Far Better than my last one...It is a '1200 by 2400'dpi and 48 bit colour depth....Price will be between £80 n £50...Got mine at a Computer Fair...If it don't take your fancy then look for other makes that are 1200x2400...Catch ya Later...

I have read several reviews where Canon scanners came out with honourable results.
I can not remember the model number...1240U? :confused:

As for where to buy, have you looked in the stick post at the top? ^^
I could give you some very good Norwegian sites, but I guess it is a bit out of your way? :)

I kind of figured you wouldn`t. I meant it like a joke, I realize that I should have used a :D instead of a :) after that phrase!

Hope you find something you becomes satisfied with though. :)
