just bought pioneer 104,when backing up xbox they load fine.but when i copy any ps2 original or dvdr the burn but non loadup.it cant be the media because i have other dvdrs on the same media that work.but that was i differnt dvd burner which started doing the same.

it only came with nero but this will not work.now using primo2.
i am realy getting stressed out.:furious:

are the any drivers that should have come with the pioneer104.

i have even tried 3 other dvdrom drives.tried writing to image first.

loads of advise needed.

are you usibg dvdrw???????
if so they wont work on the ps2......
apart from that i use nero and all
is fine

they are dvdr.they will boot perfect on xbox but no chance on ps2 tried again with a copy of devil may cry from original gets to playstaion 2 logo screen goes blank as normal then goes back to memory card screen.

What mod chip you have? Which PS2 loading screen you getting?

messiah and its the first white playstation2 screen.

Dont know how true it is but a mate of mine has said that he was going to flash his 104 to the latest firmware but a downside in doing this was that it would no longer write ps2 dvdr ??? As i say i cant vouch for this.

devil may cry has one of the highest tocs-ur messiah mite b rejectin it-try 1 with a lower toc-u shud always write to image first as if u dont -ur talkin errors galore and ur ps2 laser wil have a fit,as far as media goes -i wudnt go further than: datasafe gen3,whitelabel or fws,mayb traxddata too,others mite work with one copy but not with the next-hope this helps-regards,gsand.
