help anyone

I have downloaded the upgrade file and unzipped it which then gives me a bin and a cue file which I then can't do anything with. I have tried copying them to cd but then when trying to play it on the 1010 it comes up as a smart avi file and won't do anything. I have also tried putting them through cdrwin as recommended but it doesn't pick up my cd recorder (lg ) .
Any ideas on how to open up the files so as to record them properly?

What did you use to burn the BIN/CUE?? Nero, BlindWrite, CD Mate and FireBurner can all burn BIN/CUE files, personally I find that CD Mate works the best out of them though.

Can you read the CD properly on your PC??

As for CDRWin, have you got an ASPI layer installed??

I used easy cdcreator platinum to copy it, but I do have nero 5 and have just tried it on this and get same problem.
It doesn't open the files on my pc neither though,I got the upgrade from

and can't as yet get the upgrade from this forum to compare the two.
I have no idea what ASPI layer is so don't know if I have it?

You should be able to see a readme file on the disc as well as BANK30.ROM.

All I get is the two files one wants to open up through my media player (bin file) and then says mmsystem281 and you need to install a driver that supports this file and other wants to play through my nero player and wants to open the file but there is no supported files to open it with? any help?

The bin and cue files are the cd image. You need to burn the image to a cd with cdrwin etc. Am i right in thinking you are just making a data cd with those 2 files on.

Yes I am copying as data files, but can't use cdrwin on my recorder(lg) and even when copying with nero I get the same thing?

You need to burn it as a disc image and not a data CD. In Nero select Burn Image from the file menu and open up the CUE file.
