I down sampled my main movie vobs to 75% (To keep Quality)useing rempeg all without problem. All of the files for the dvd still came to about 5 gig so i then down sampled some move extra vobs and replaced my originals with the down sampled ones just like when doing the main movie files. I got the whole disc down to 4 gig after doing vts sectors and suchlike Superb i thought now burn,PROBLEM !!! Prassi sees that the folder is 4 gig but only tries to burn 280 meg it burns it and i can play it but obviousley no film has anyone got any ideas ??????

Hi mate thanks for the link, I'm not looking for a soft way out here but bear with me a mo. I down sampled the extra vobs to 25% they dont look all that but they are there ive done everything in ifoedit that needs doing, Whats bugging me is that the 4 gig file ready to burn to dvd runs perfectly on the pc, menus, extras the lot, As i say if i need to use the method the link refers to i will but it does seem odd, maybee just a small thing not quite right ?

Your problem is that contents of your folder are not properly dvd compliant & that is why prassi is causing problems.

I have had this happens hundreds of time & the only way to fix it is to go over all your files again & see if something is not right.

Hi Kaizerboy thanks for your reply mate, i did all that 2 or 3 times, strange that when i exit ifo edit it tells me that some files have changed am i sure i want to exit without saving but ive saved everything anyway ?, Whats even stranger is that i tried burning the files with VOB instant cd/dvd and you know what IT WORKS !!!, The only difference with the 2 programs i could see when writing was that vob defaults to disc at once but prassi is track at once closed, so i tried burning it with prassi using disc at once and you know what it still dont work :). Anyway the long and the short is that ive got a working backup of my original now. Thanks for your help peeps.
