the adr patcher from game copy world is about the most complete on i've seen, it even allowed me to finally burn tekken tag. check out the ps2 chimps website for pal 2 ntsc patches.

Yes!! It's called a "NTSConv" patcher..... or converter. I've used it some and it has worked 99% of the time. And yes it didn't work once out of all the times I've used it. It has saved me from alot of problems. Just make sure you get the one WITHOUT the Front-End Loader.....

ADR does both. you just have to pick the right settings

That adr-patcher must be a new one with added pal2ntsc support. I know that you can add the .ppf patch to it's list of patches but I'm pretty sure it does not convert pal2nstc.

The one thing it does have is a generic patch that works on almost all EA
games and many others that require the patch. You can patch any game with itand then run the NTSCONV.EXE (DOS version) on the .bin file of some
games and that will convert from pal2ntsc or from ntsc2pal.

To convert fron pal2ntsc:
1)First patch the game .binfile with the adr generic patch.

2)Then create a folder in the c:\ root and name it something short ( Helps with DOS)

3)Dump the .bin/.cue files of the pal/ntsc game (whichever you have ) and the NTSCONV.EXE itno the folder you just created

4)Now Open a DOS window and cd to the c:\whatever you named that folder . If you don't know DOS or don't know what that is , go play with you hot wheels or something. Just joking. I can't show you right now cause I don't know DOS either.

5)Type: Dir in the DOS command. You should see that you have three files in there. The .bin/,cue and the NTSCONV.EXE

6)To convert from a pal2ntsc you run this command:

ntsconv.exe -n xxx.bin

To convert from a ntsc2pal you run this command:
ntscpnv.exe -p xxx.bin

7) The conversion process will be slow so have patience. Once that is done you will receive a message telling that it found the vmode and that it was converted.

8) Go get you favorite burning app and burn away.


I do recommend you burn your backups at 4X or slower. That will add life to your laser.
