can i use the nero 2 backup any game i want into dvd-R

I dont think so, Only DVD games can go on DVDr. I dont think yu can put a cd game onto dvd. But then again i dont no.

On a side note: Y would u wanna wast a DVD-R on somthing a CDR and handle?

if u wanted to put a cd game onto dvdr u would need to hack the media checker as PS2 checks that games are on the correct media type..

Yeah, I don't get the idea here, why do it? cdrs are free or near free these days.

How about backing up 2 or 3 CD based games on to 1 DVDr?? Will the PS2 load each individual games seperately? Any ideas guys??

Where would the dvd checks be? Cause you take them out to put it on cdrs--so no.

If sum 1 wrote up an app then it could work, we just gotta wait 4 that.

beside this if i rip them into cd ..will be there any movies lost for any ps2

yes most of the time when u rip the games from PS2 dvd u would lose movie or music ... but some games r CD size but they still insist of putting it on DVD (eg Auto Modellista) therefore if u rip those out then u would not lose any movie or music

There games like Metal Gear Solid2, and Final Fantasy X that can't be ripped cause of gamed-rendered movies, and in both games, you run back and forth.

Even the biggest and the most sophisticated pirates in the world couldnt rip MGS2.

you wither download the iso or copy an original.
and there are NO ps2 games that come with multiple disc (except rips). Common sense man CD-CDR, DVD-DVDR.
Just read some FAQs. it is not hard at all.
