I've got the Eg browser that was translated by mini-me, tried it with a usb modem, and it doesn't work.

Has anyone actually got this working? Does it need a certain make of modem?

Any help will be appreciated!

yes, its an internet browser that was released in japan. there has been a backup image floating around that is only compatible with certain usb modems, but not ethernet.

MillzE2k1 is it the english version if it is then i tell us where you got it from as it seems to be hard to get hold of

Hi guys, My version is the jap version has been translated into english - so its not the full english version :) there are still 1 or 2 jap menus.

Does anyone know the make of modem that definately works?? Im using a Diamond Supra Max...

There are no real english versions of the EGBrowser, it was only realesed in Japan and Mini-Me did us all a favor and translated it. BTW If any one wants it contact me ( I can see another EGBrowser forum starting) :)

If you want it search for it in the BST forum. I got it more than a year ago, its only about 4 megs to download if you find it on the net.
