I have been trying to figure out how to use Evolution-X. I understand it is a program that will let me load iso images of games. I have also downloaded flashfxp so that I can ftp the iso images from my pc to the xbox. I have connected the xbox to an open port on the same switch my pc is on. I have no idea if the xbox is recognized on the network. How do I go upon installing evo-x and transferring using flashfxp?
Is there a walk-through step-by-step type of instructions anywhere out there or could someone give tips to all of us newbies so that we can learn how to use these programs that I keep hearing all about?
Thanks in advance to everyone that can help!
p.s. - I have an xtender chip installed and working right now (well it only works with dvd-r's unfortunately).

download evo-x if u havent allready
burn to a dvd-r (its allso easy if u get an xbox iso reader and extract the files as well to a folder on ya pc)
boot up in xbox
goto network and get ya ip for xbox
use flashxp and connect to xbox
backup xboxdash.xbe from drive c in xbox to pc
and rename xboxdash.xbe to msxboxdash.xbe
then if u extracted the evox iso rename the default.xbe to xboxdash.xbe
and copy to xbox or copy default from d to c on xbox then rename
now u can reboot and it will boot up with evo-x
or u can just leave on dvd-r and boot from there everytime u want evox
if u using evox on hd and wanting to boot games and such from hd use the evox-x menu editor for ease

I've seen some experienced sceners f*ck up their XBox because they didn't know what they were doing with Evo-X.
So no offense, but if you have to ask, you probably shouldn't mess with it...

Yes you can romps, I have seen numerous posts about this happening. Im not sure why, but I think its cause they put it on a cdr or cdrw instead of a dvdr. But its indeed possible to so do to your xbox....

I put it on DVD did everything I was supposed to do and fucced the box. I aint no idiot. Everything was done as it was supposed to but the box ended up unusable. Now there may have been some hardware reason for the problem but it was when I put EVOX on that it stopped working.

omg lol just coz it says n00b on my name it means i not posted loads of stupid messages repeating what peeps have said 300 times with diff words
and it is so easy to do evo-x dash that a total n00b can do it anyways
its not hard if u can read......
and it makes no diff to what media u put it on aslong as your xbox can read it...........
oh and i forgot to add if u do somehow mess it up so ya xbox wont boot
just write evo-x on to a cd ya xbox can read and make sure u have the ini file with ya default xbe and it will boot ya xbox back up anyways so u can change back what u have done
