1) Install Microsoft's .NET Framework redistributable runtime.
2) Unzip the XStream server to a directory on your harddisk.
3) Copy this into your directory
4) Typed installutil XStreamService.exe
5) The service was installed succesfully
6) I edit config.xml set the shared directory.
7).Connected my xbox to the pc with a crossover network cable


iam pretty much retarted from there but I did do a lot of searches and a lot of people are as confused as I am so atleat iam not the only one

I already have DHCP/BOOTP Server in stalled. I can upload and download to my xbox so I know a little just kinda confused

i already have it on my xbox and when i push the with button it will not find my pc media so i can play it.

iam i suppost to be runing any thing on my pc like softwear so the xbox can read my media besides xstreamservice
