1. This beta version does not alter the dashboard.
2. Works fine with EvoX V2.2 bios.
3. Works fine with copy of NFL 2K3 running from the harddrive.
4. Works pretty lag free.
5. Has a subscription code which must be entered when you sign up.

Fence, here is a question I have regarding it... I am using an external drive to read CDr's and cheap DVDRs. How do you load the Xbox Live? Does it load files onto the hard drive so it is permenantly there? Or do you ahve to always put in an Xbox disc (kinda like a game shark) to get to Xbox live?
The reason I ask is because the external drive I am using will not load Xbox origionals, and Xbox live sounds sweet, so I am just wondering how it works. Thanks

Right now you use a DVD to sign up and configure it, I assume it stores something on the harddrive, when you play a game you pick your LIVE profile to go online with. They are saying that future versions may write a new dashboard to the harddrive. Once you sign up you do not put the disk back in unless you need to reconfigure something (as it stands with this beta version anyway).

there are multiple channels just like with Game Voice for PC. You can speak to everyone, just to a team, just to people you have chosen, or just to one person.
