View Full Version : voice and sound effect don't sync well

Jan 31, 2002, 02:17 AM
I've had 2 vcd's that don't sync voice and sound effects very well. It's not a big deal, but it doesn't help make a good viewing experience.

The VCD's were Blood the last vampire and a Buffy episode

I have an APEX DVD 703 player(3 disc).
-- I also burned the new firmware so it's now region free

I've seen this problem on my friends computer as well.

Any help?

I think that once it's on the vcd it can't be changed.
The only way is to convert the dat file to mpg, then re-synch the sound yourself, and burn a new vcd.
There's a tutorial on

Yeah if if it was .avi at first (after using flask to make it to avi), check to see if the sound is in sync with the video. If not, then use a program called AVIINFO to make it insync with each other. Then convert it to mpeg and burn as vcd.
